School Camp

Camp Status: Compulsory
Camp Fees: Rs. 50/- per scout
Venue: St. Vincent’s High School
Timing: 9th September 2006 (Saturday) 10:00 a.m. to 10th September 2006 (Sunday) 2:00 p.m.

(Lunch on Saturday to be brought, dinner & breakfast for next day will be provided)


The following are the activities along with the schedule for the minor camp in school on this coming Saturday and Sunday

Saturday
10:00 a.m. – Assemble & explanation of Patrol Efficiency (PE)… PE will include Model Making, Soap Carving, Designing a Book Cover & Logic Questions

10:30 to 12:30 a.m. – Major game of Forts (Round Robin… every patrol plays all the other 3 patrols). The finals will be on Sunday

12:30 to 1:30 p.m. – Lunch

1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Marketing Competition (Product to be marketed will be given on the spot)

3:30 to 7:00 p.m. – Treasure Hunt (its going to be relatively longer than the one we had this year during one of the meetings… 6 guys from each patrol have to go on Cycles… Clues are going to be harder)

7:00 to 9:00 p.m. – Cooking Competition (Starters & Dessert can be planned by you guys, but the Main Course is going to be given on the spot. All raw materials will be provided. However, the cost of raw materials should not cross Rs. 100/- per patrol.)

9:00 to 10:00 p.m. – Dinner Break

10:00 onwards – Campfire (Skit & Song to be prepared by you guys… choose your own topic & please come up with good skits)

11:30 onwards – Flag Raiders


Sunday
6:30 a.m. – Rise

7:00 a.m. – Inspection

7:30 to 8:00 a.m. – Investiture

8:00 to 8:45 a.m. – Breakfast

9:00 to 10:00 a.m. – Forts Finals (both the finals, winners’ & losers’ match, will not take place simultaneously)

10:00 a.m. – Submission of PE

10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Adventure Activity followed by clean up

12:30 p.m. onwards – Award Ceremony…
